A Parisian doctor treats his patients with laughter medicine alone. Every Sunday, he gathers his patients in a hall, blindfolds them and makes them listen to jokes that evoke a lot of laughter. Some scientists believe that there is no life without laughter and if a patient doesn't laugh, he becomes chronically ill. Loud laughter shakes the body and releases the feel good hormones or endorphins, which boost immunity.
:silent: Pleaaaaaaaaaase don't make me laugh now ... I'm aching all over after having minor surgery yesterday. I feel like a herd of elephants have trampled all over me, my endorphins are keeping schtum at the moment but I'll look on here in a few days time to exercise them again.
