My experience with PTSD:
terrifying PTSD episodes, and panic attacks, raise blood sugars at the time, and for about 4 hours afterwards.
antidepressants (I have tried many) raise my blood sugar levels significantly 24/7, didnt work and turned me into a zombie and I put on loads of weight
For me, personally, living with the PTSD is better for my health and daily/weekly blood sugar levels than taking the meds. Breathing exercises, and general non-drug interventions help with my daily living, and taking care of my mental health is an equal priority to my t2 diabetes.
