Serum C reactive protein level 95.62 mg/L [0.0 - 5.0]; Above high reference limit

They put me on steroids see if would take down sadly over four weeks not gone down not sure what the heck is wrong

My dad has the same issues with his 'Serum C reactive protein level'
I know they keep putting him on steroids then weening him off then having to restart again , I think they told him he has polymyalgia - but I think that's what they call stuff like that when they dont really not what it actually is and it obviously may not be what you have

Note: he is NOT diabetic, so whilst steroids are definitely not good long term he at least doesn't have the blood sugar problems to worry about

They mentioned Polymyalgia but I want these steroids cut down I aint having again if not doing any good
