Infusion sets on the accu chek insight

Hi all. I first got the insight when it came out in 2015. I didn't get on with the infusion sets and changed back to my Medtronic for a long time til now. For various reasons including using an out of warranty pump I've been asked to give it another go. Anyway... Infusion sets are still not suiting me. They only have the insight flex cannulas and ones called tender link. Tender link still has adhesive issues (the initial reason I stopped using this pump). Tonight another cannula issue has caused my BG to rise stupidly high. I'm at the end of my tether. Has anyone else has such issues with the infusion sets or is it just me? I feel my team didnt believe me about the initial adhesion issues as I was the first to report it to accu chek back in 2015. They've only just bought out an alternative which again has issues such as leaking from where the cannula enters my skin and stickiness issues such as it not lasting for a full 2 days (accu chek say you can go 3 days too)!
This is on top of the snail pace of a handset! I want to throw it out the window!

Just wondering if I'm alone on this??

I have problems with the cannulas, very disheartening when they stop working and blood glucose levels rise sharply, right side gotta change every other day, used 4 one day, really like the insight as a pump but the cannula problem is like owning a Rolls Royce but unable to drive lol.

I have no issues, other than occasionally the site I put the cannula into is not a good one and have to move it. This in my case is not a cannula issue more a chosen site location issue.

Hi, I have this exact issue. Probably since I first started on the pump in 2015 also...I had persevered with it as the leaking hasn't been constant, but over this past bank holiday, I've suddenly had issues with constant highs (nothing below 14) and trying to figure out that problem, along with leaking cannulas is quite the nightmare. I've spoken to my DSN and she is going to look around for some spare TenderLinks for me to try, I have to ring her back in a week...
My time on this pump will be ending January 2019 and I feel like I have to change to a different company with a more varied range of sets, which I'm quite bummed about as the pump itself has never let me down and was my perfect side kick when I was pregnant with my daughter

Hi I’ve had the same problems with the cannulas with the insight, last week I checked BG at around 7.30am BG was 6.5, I input my carbs into the insight meter my insulin then went in, ate my carbs. At around 12.30 I checked my BG and it read 15.1 & this isn’t the first time this has done this to me. I’ve also checked my BG on the insight 3 times with 3 minute intervals and it read 3.4, 5.2, 6.9 I have lost faith in the insight & often think about switching back to my old Accu-Chek Combo pump. I’m hoping that in a years time when I change my pump, I’ll go for a Medtronic. I must also mention that I’m in my 57th year of T1 diabetes.

Is it RH or LH thread luer lock? just changed back to animas sets while using a Dana Pump

I didn't used to have a problem, recently I seem to get leaks all the time Can't wait to switch but I'm 18 months away
