Wasn’t thinking & took bonus in thigh where I inject basal. Will it just be delayed?

Was it exactly the same spot as where you had just taken the basal? I can't imagine it making much difference if not, though I suppose you may or may not have a different absorption rate in your leg to where you normally take your bolus?

When I was on a basal bolus regime, I didn't hae specific spots for basal and bolus, I just tried to rotate them....

Happy to be corrected if others have different experiences.

Hi @LucySW .

I find for me my Novorapid absorbs & responds reasonably well in my leg.
In fact I prefer it?

Just keep an eye on your BG levels to see how it performs?

Personally I don’t have a particular body part for a particular insulin it just goes in wherever is nearest to my hand at the time and with this quite laid back attitude it’s amazing that I manage to rotate my sites but I do so must be some method in my madness

Did it make any difference ?
Sometime use thigh for Basal often wondered but tend not to use that area much as I have little in the way of fat on legs
