How long do you keep the insulin pen in for? I get told to pull it out straight after the units go in, but i tend to keep the pen in for like 3minutes because i don't think the insulin is going in?


Anyone else have this problem or can help me out please?

10 seconds should be enough

Yep, 10-12 seconds is long enough and there shouldn't be any leakage , 3 mins seems excessive but if you feel better doing it that way then that's fine.
