If you are holding the needle in for that long the insulin will go in. Does the spike to 12 come down again in time? Do you pre-bolus?

It’ll, be going in, please don’t worry. Them;title, drop that appears at the end of the needle is quite normal, it’s due to the pressure within the needle being a little higher than the surrounding air when you take it out of your body.

Are you doing an air shot before injecting? The little squirt of a couple of units into the air before you do your injection? That ,ales sure the needle is primed and ready to go. The pens are super accurate, so you’ll be getting the right dose.
