Hi, is anyone else finding a lot of redness with the adhesive on the inset II device? This lasts for around a week or two after I change sites. Its a bit annoying given that I was hoping to have less markings now I'm not using mdi! Any advice?

I've not had this as an issue with these sets. It sounds as though you may be allergic to the adhesive. Have you tried a barrier like Cavillon?

Try the barrier spray not the cream Cavilon and see if that helps.

Cavilon is renowned for leaving red marks. A lot of people are allergic to it despite it being hypoallergenic. It also takes some scrubbing to remove as its water resistant for 24 hours. Often used in incontinent patients to prevent rashes as allows no moisture on skin.
