Insujet Needless Issues

Hi, A friend of mine has to take insulin twice a day by way of the Insujet needless injector. Not as straight forward as an a regular needle but once the procedure is done several times it becomes easy.
My concern is this:
The insulin is a two part mix (one a slow release, and the other a fast release) the mixture has to be mixed (gently shaken) in the vial it comes in so that it is completely cloudy. Then it is attached to the Insujet and by turning the dial to the required number, you extract the right amount of insulin into the transparent tip/ nozzle of the insujet device. Once done you remove the inuslin vial and tap / flick the tip of the insujet tip to remove any bubbles, then turn the dial a couple of notches to extrude /eject some of the insulin. This done, you put the device against the skin and fire the injector. What worries me is that if a small bubble is injected into the skin, is this dangerous. Moreover, in the future this mix may be replaced with a clear insulin which may not be easy to see. If so accidentally filling the tip of the insujet with air might occur if not vigilant. So you could possibly inject yourself with air. Is this potentially very dangerous, or not so, as it is not a needle.

Anyone have experience with this or know potential problems, Thanks
