I opened a new pen vial of novorapid yesterday. I now notice lots of tiny air bubbles in the vial. I always prime and use a new pen tip for each injection. I know we all see air bubbles in our insulin vials at times but are so many tiny ones normal ?
For purposes of injecting via a pen this should be okay. If I get air bubbles when filling a pump cartridge it causes a problem with insulin delivery but not a safety problem for a subcutaneous jab via a pen.
