I have heard and seen the effects of weight gain to the stomach area due to insulin being injected to this area.
I take Novorapid 3 times daily and Levimir 1 and do alternate injection sites between legs, arms and abdomen
I am not overweight, (long may it continue) but was wondering if injecting levimir (long acting) rather than Levimir (short acting) into the stomach reduces the risk of this happening in the future....after all insulin is a fat storing hormone!??
Any information/experiance regards to the above would be grateful?
