Insulin change

Still having trouble with my control and wondering if a different insulin might help or are they mostly the same

Different insulins work at different speeds but it depends what your problem is.
If your dose is incorrect or you pre-bolus too soon/late, changing insulin won't make a difference.

Dose correct and have been carb counting for 25 years but have never had this problem before 4 months back when I was ill and have tried earlier later dosing also changed bolus ratio but still cannot get control back so thats why I was wondering about the insulin
