Insulin Dosage

I take 44 units of insulin at night is this a high dose which is taken once a day

It's just a dosage. There are people who take as low a dosage as 3 units and people who take as much as 400 units. If your dosage keeps your bg within acceptable levels it's the right dosage for you.
