How long do you know that you need to be on a higher level dose or different type? This morning injected 10u of humulin I and my bg level before food tonight was 14.5 first 3 days back on insulin my levels had gone back down to max of 11. But now there rising again I'm also on byduren sp? Which I know is not the norm for type 1 but there are reasons behind it not so much to lower levels but control issues with food.
Just wondering if the insulin needs upping, I'm prepared that my next meeting with consultant may mean I need to be on different insulin gp suggested 4 a day injections once I can handle injecting myself better.
