Surely if they was too high before the operation or whatever and they are fine now then that answers your question? That you need to be on that dosage lol?hi, I had my insulin doses put up from 10 twice a day to 14 jn the morning and 18 evening because I was due an operation and my levels where to high, should they be put back down, although for the first time my levels are reasonable.
Have had my opp, sorry not good on my computer, recovering at home, but when I take my morning insulin I get an almost immediate headacheHi @charliepup9 and welcome to the forum.
I will bump your post up for a reply.
Have you had the operation?
I am using humulin kwik penWhich insulin are you taking?
If it's giving you a headache it might be worth asking to try a different one.
It would be worth asking your consultant about trying something different. Some people react badly to certain insulins.I am using humulin kwik pen
thankyou Robert, I will phone on Monday and see what they say, take care.It would be worth asking your consultant about trying something different. Some people react badly to certain insulins.
thankyou for your input, I am going to phone my diabetic nurse on Monday to discuss this as I get headaches every morning just after taking my insulinHi. Use the meter to guide you and make changes over several days but I suspect the shots need to come back down a bit.
