Hi
I inject my 8 year old daughter (newly diagnosed
)twice a day with novamix flexpens. I always hold the pen dead straight when injecting, insert slowly, and wait for about 10 seconds. However, when I take out the pen, I have noticed, at times, that there is insulin on the site of injection and a tiny bubble of insulin comes out on the pen. I always squirt out a couple of units to get rid of air bubbles before I inject. Worried that I am losing insulin. Am I injecting correctly?
Thanks for all replies.
