Hello
I'm in my tenth week following quadruple heart bypass grafts. I've suddenly started having random sweats that even though my sugars aren't low (above eight) which appear to be hypos. For the first time I had one last night in the night at 6.8. Previously i had to get as low as 2-3 before I could feel it.
I went for the new Inclisirin injection (for cholesterol) yesterday & had a low episode & in passing & the sister mentioned that cagb can increase the efficiency & effectiveness of insulin.
Apart from being upset at no one warning me I now have no idea the levels of insulin to taken with different foods/amounts. Before I had it all worked out & well balanced. I've spoken to the diabetic nurses & they just talk generically.
Has anyone else gone through this please? Thanks for listening

Hi @J M A and welcome to the forum.
I hope you are recovering well. I recall that I had odd temperature changes following my 3x bypass, never did find out why and it went away apart from me running warmer (at extremities) than before. I had suffered from cold hands & feet for decades before op.
I have no bypass with diabetes experience because the bypass was 2yrs before T2 diagnosis. However I blame GP convincing me to double down on Low Fat, 5 a Day, 'heart healthy whole grains' after the bypass for pushing me into being (a little) overweight and T2D.

Fortunately I found these forums, got a BG meter and realised that that NHS advised diet was doing me no favours. Hence T2D remission.
