Insulin Lump

Hi!
I inject into my belly and have now got a lump, I'm losing weight and trying to tone up but the whole time the lump is there I feel like it pointless as its all I notice when I look in the mirror. Does anyone know how I can help get rid of it?

They call the condition Lipohypertrophy, I have a lump on my stomach from my early days of injecting insulin, the usual advice is to keep well away from the area in the hope that the lump goes down and disappears, have a read of the following:

I can't really stay away though, I don't have anywhere else to do my insulin as my thighs are in the same situation really

Also use your arms and bum. You can still inject in the stomach but keep away from the lumpy area.

I use to inject my basal in my bum & legs and my bolus doses in my stomach & arms.
