I use OmniPod 5 with NovoRapid. I find that on the third day of the pod, I have to to keep manually bolusing to keep up with rising readings, and wonder if the insulin is less effective on the third day? Reading the instruction leaflet, it says in use store below 30°C, but insulin in a 3 day pod has been at body heat of 38°C or so for that long … (They give some nanny instructions about the cleaning the infusion site when referencing a pump, but don't address temperature) Surely Insulin manufacturers should be developing formulations specifically for pumps at body heat for days?
