Message: <blockquote data-quote="jaywak" data-source="post: 2759416" data-attributes="member: 156561"><p>Three to four years ago I was taken off Novo Rapid insulin and put on Trurapi insulin as a cost cutting exercise by the NHS which is fine by me and consequently given two new Allstar pro by Sanofi insulin pens to administer the dose , I noticed a couple of weeks ago that one of the pens was getting a bit notchy and on a couple of occasions I couldn't turn the dial so as it's on my prescription I requested a new one only to be told a few days later by my pharmacy that they were no longer able to get them from the manufacturer and I would have to get in touch with my doctor to get an alternative which I will have to do next week , I was just wondering if anybody knows of an alternative pen that will deliver Trurapi insulin that I could request , I did go on line and found that the life expectancy of the pen is only three years so I might have to ask for two just in case it happens again .</p></blockquote><p></p>
