Is it true that the validity of the insulin Pen After installing a needle for the first time is only 28 day ?

For Lantus, after you take it out of the fridge, it probably won't last for 28 days. More like 21 or 22. I've never managed to have a Novorapid 3ml Cartridge last more than about 20 days.

Yes insulin kept outside of a fridge should thrown away after 4 weeks.............but not the whole pen unless it's a disposable pen like the Lantus Solostar.
