Insulin Pens lost! :(

Hi there,

I've misplaced two insulin pens over the last couple of days - something which has never happened before!
I only have one left now and will have to switch between my long and short acting insulin cartridges which is far from ideal.
How can I best go about getting replacement pens? I use the NovoPen Echo? do i need to phone the NHS/GP/my hospital clinic?

Please can someone advise me - thanks! :)

Oh dear. I'll tag my colleague @Diakat , but in your shoes, I'd be inclined to contact whomever writes my prescriptions as a starter, but maybe for speed your clinic might have some "in stock" you could pick up?

Hi @oompaloompa
At least you have the one pen so can deliver your insulin.
Contact your medical team and they can sort new ones. You could also try calling the pen makers to see if they could send some.

If you are under a clinic, give them a call. Mine has always insisted I have a spare pen for everyone I use, and they provided them.
