insulin pens

im a type 1 diabetic and was given my insulin pen by the hospital when i was diagnosed it has just broke and i was wondering if i could get them on prescription from my doctor or do i have to buy them has nearly 40 pound is alot of money please does any1 know :?

hi, as a type 1 on the nhs you will get all your pens..needles etc free

Ask your GP for another one on prescription. I got a spare that way just in case anything does happen to mine.

Yes I think that it's essential to have at least 1 spare.

Yes go back and ask for a new one and a spare as it your life and if your diabetic its free
Go to your pharmacy and ask them they will gladly tell you
am on the throw away pens but mums on same as you she got three as they travel alot
