insulin pump help needed!!!!

I have been Type 1 for twenty years and have had a medtronic pump for the last four. My control has never been great but over the last few months its just gone mad. Blood sugars are high most of the time. Hypos if I use correction doses. I get little or no support from my DSN and to be honest Im at the end of my tether. I really want to be well controlled and would love to achieve a good HbA1c for once. I am actually at the stage where I want to forget that Im diabetic and end up in hospital just to get some help!!! and thats bad!! I feel dreadful because of the swinging blood sugars and need help to understand stuff. Any advice about all aspects of pump use and your experiences will really help me! Thanks xx

Hi Heltinka,
if you aren't getting any help ask to transfer to another clinic where you will get the help you need.
Also buy the book pumping insulin by John Walsh (Amazon).

We can't help though unless you give some basic info
when are you making changes to your basal?
what durration of insulin do you have set on your pump?
What insulin are using?
