Am on Florida on holiday and my daughters insulin pump has stopped working. Worried that I may run out of supplies while waiting on a new one can I buy them over here x
do you have insulin pens and insulin as back up for the next few days ?
have you contacted the pump manufacturer for a replacement ?
I am not 100% sure if they will sell you insulin without a script -- best bet is to go to a pharmacy and take your daughter and take all the supplies you do have -- explain and hope they are friendly and wanting to help.
( also take a copy of your daughter's UK script in as back up proof and GP letter that your daughter is type 1 )

Did you take back-up pens in case of a pump problem? If so just use them until such times that you get the pump issue sorted, any problems just pop into a local medical centre/ hospital.
Have you tried contacting the manufacturer, I had heard in the the past of someone on holiday in NZ getting a replacement pump within two days in this manner.
As others have said, use the spare pens in the meantime, if you did not take any then go to a local chemist and purchase some.
