Type 1 Insulin Pumps And Summer Heat

I am on an insulin pump and this summer has been extreme in regards to heat
I am wondering at what temperature does insulin in the pump begin to deteriorate?
What if anything can be done or added to the pump to keep it cool in these conditions?
Should I change my reservoir more frequently in hotter weather?
 
I have a pump and made no changes to the regularity of set changes in the heat.
I use the Animas Vibe and recently looked up the operating conditions: it works up to 40 degrees C.
Whilst it has been hot here, it has not been that hot ... and I always keep it out of direct sunlight.

Is your question based on any recent observations?
Some of us find our BG is affected by the heat - for some we get higher BG and others see a lower BG regardless of pump or MDI (or diet for type 2).
 
I am using Medtronic and since the hot weather my sugars have been reading high regularly
Not so much the concern of operating temperature of the pump but the insulin in the pump

It's probably the heat affecting your blood sugars rather than the insulin. Definitely don't expose the tubing/reservoir to direct sunlight, I did this at the beach once and the insulin was useless after. Ive always kept my pens or pump in my pocket in very hot weather and never had a problem though.
