I been on insulin pens all my life and yes sometimes I don't want to stick that needle in me .
I been telling the nurse in clinic I go to and doc to that I want quality of life I dnt want to be on insulin pens for ever I want to go on pump as I heard it gives us quality of life u dnt hve to worry if u hve spare pen with u it all in machine and what I heard is that hba1c if that is high is goes down a lot with pump .

now both doc and nurse keep saying to me it not a miracle r cure dnt I know it and I also said that from what I heard young kids areon pumps now and I been a diabetic almost 22 yrs now and I think it time to go on pump I would get quality of life I would stop worruing over my insulin running out etc etc .

if anyone on here is on pump and they think it great please private message me on here and tell me bout ure experience with it .

Hi, I'm on a pump, it's great and I wouldn't want to go back to MDI but as the docs say it's not a miracle cure. I now carry more stuff with me as you need to be able to revert to injections if anything goes wrong with the pump as well as spare pump supplies in case of occlusion. Hope this is some help, would have sent a pm but can't work out how to!
