Does anyone find they need lower or higher ratios at different points in the day ? I seem to require less on an evening for some reason ? Any advice would always be welcome.
Yes, have various basal rates through the day/night and boluses vary from 1/10 to sometimes 1/20 depending on time of day/ when I last bolused/planned excercise/meal size etc
Trick is to find out why, if you are normally ok with the ratio you used, whats different today ? Have you been busier today/smaller meal needing less/ more insulin on board than usual, then you start to learn to find patterns and pre empt your bodies response next time.
