Type 1 Insulin resistance due to exercise??!

Hi all,
Since the beginning of May I have been working out a lot more than normal, doing a 10min HIIT and 1hr Elliptical most days (occasional rest day) and I am finding all of a sudden that when I take my novorapid in the morning it’s not bringing my sugars down....only exercise will bring them down. I’m using the same ratio of insulin to carbs as I was before I was so active but it doesn’t touch my bgls! Anyone else experienced this? Thanks in advance x

Cathie - it could be worthwhile outlining what the changes in your bloods actually are, and how high they get when you're doing this?

What's the timing relationship between breakfast/injections/HIIT?

Are you saying that Novorapid doesn't work at any time of day, or just in the mornings?

Hey, I’m finding that my novorapid doesn’t work effectively at any time of day at the moment, for example - I did a 10min HIIT, 1hr cross trainer and 30mins yoga this afternoon, my blood sugars were a little high just before dinner but it has been an hour since taking my insulin and my blood sugars have spiked and lingered around 17mmol/L. In the mornings the same happens and even a few hours post insulin my blood sugars have been around 15mmol/L until I exercise. I’m finding my novorapid is less effective at the moment - when I started working out a lot I found that my body was super sensitive to insulin (which is normal) but just recently I’ve found that the only thing that will bring down my bgls is exercise
