Anyone here have problems with insulin a few days before they’re due their period? My blood glucose has been awful it happens every month. I sometimes take 3 times the amount of insulin I’d normally need to take. Gentle exercise can help but this isn’t always possible for me. I have tried upping my background insulin by 2 units about 3 days before I know that I’m due on but it isn’t helping. Anything I can do to avoid insulin resistance? I’m sure it’s to do with hormones.
