Ok i like my carbs. I like them complex, whole and low G.I and i happen to think they should form the basis of every meal. I only say that as a measure of full disclosure and not to begin a flame war so please be kind.
My question is, what are your IC ratios? I have quite often seen that LC have very high IC ratios i.e. 1-5:1 i.e. they are extremely insulin insensitive. I wanted to ask is this a result of low carbing or rather the result of that person being T2 (but taking insulin) and thus being insensitive as a result?
I only ask because when i have good quality carbs such as fruit and veg i am much more insulin sensitive, i wondered if the opposite were true in the case of LC?
