For a time I was using 150 units of Levemir a day (75 units in the AM and 75 units at night).  I was getting frightened regarding the amount I was injecting.  Out of exasperation, I tried Lantus (via an old Rx) and my numbers adjusted dramatically - in my favour.  I ended up dropping to about 20 units a day of Lantus.  btw changes ok'd by my endocrinologist - definitely check with yours before trying a new regimen.Good luck!</blockquote>
