Insulin

Yes @mandy1966 . I am. Although I am trying to reduce it's need by doing a strict 30g carb lchf diet.
On re-starting insulin therapy I instantly started my first attempt of lchf diet too. I'm convinced even thou I didn't add weight starting insulin. I would have if I hadnt started lchf diet too. I've relaxed my carbs and now after returning from a carby holiday I'm about to restart a 30g carb lchf diet.
I highly recommend that diet for keeping good levelled bgs, especially on insulin.

Yes, you can. It depends why you're put on it though. Some are put on it to gain good control. Some like me are put on it because we no longer produce the insulin we need. If you're on it for the first reason I mentioned you can probably work your way to come off it, the latter reason isn't the case.
