It completely depends on the individual @Laney123

It can also vary for each meal - ie be a different ratio at breakfast than at lunch.

No, because this is individual.

Often the starting point for working out your insulin to carb ratio will be 1:10, but that's just a starting point. A bit of experimentation and carful post prandial testing will help you assess whether that ratio actually works for you or you need more insulin with a ratio of 1:8 or 1:5 or less with a ratio or 1:12 or 1:15 etc. Obviously all other ratios are possible. And some people need different ratios at different times of day.
