insulin

hello ive been diagnosed type two and on insulin but no one has really said anything to me about how much insulin i should put in after a meal out last night i was 12.5 so i doubled that 25 and put 20 units of insulin in thus i thought leavin five does it work like that or not i got up this morning and was 6.2 so what is the right amount basically please .dave

Hi,

if you tell us what insulin you are using and how you work out how much insulin to take for your meals (if you BG's were in range before you eat/inject) it would be easier to advise you!
