Insulin ?

I just had my Hba1c results at my Doctors and it was 10.2 from 11.8 previous month, as some of you know i stopped taking my medication for 6 months.I have another appointment in 10 days with my own Doctor who has requested to see me,is it inevitable that i will one day will have to go on Insulin as my readings 2 hours are food are now around the 7.7 mmol mark.What im really asking is does every type 2 diabetic have to eventually go on Insulin.

No, Roger.

Many have been able to control their condition using diet and exercise alone. Some have even been able to come off medication by changing their diets.
It's by no means a slow inexorable decline, with an isulin prescription at the end of it. While there is no cure as yet, there is much that can be done to beat it.
