Hello, I was just wondering if anyone had any advice/recommendations re international health insurance policies with diabetes? From what I can find, most exclude chronic health condition such as T1 diabetes or are extortion, so was hoping someone had experience with this!

Which? do a good guide to this if you’re in the UK.
 
Hi. I've not found a problem. If that's your only health condition you may avoid any extra premium. Most companies cover diabetes sometimes with a small extra premium.
 
The only issue after talking to a specialist is that in most cases pre existing conditions are not covered

And the issue is many things can be attributed to diabetes

Ie you had a heart attack because your diabetic
