soaps on telly and people talking about the characters as if they were real.
I opened a new pack of test strips this morning [the ones I got on prescription] For some reason, I decided to read the leaflet. In one section, there's information on NORMAL non-diabetic blood glucose levels. My leaflet says fasting < 6.1mmol/l and 2 hours after meal <7.8mmol/l
I looked at my husband's meter. It has similar info listed, but the fasting is listed as <5.6mmol/l pp is he same.
Does anyone have any other numbers?

Mine says
Normal fasting blood glucose range for an adult without diabetes: between 4.1 and 5.9 mmol/l
2 hours afters meals: less than 7.8 mmol/l

One Touch (French info leaflet)says fasting 5.6mmol/l and 2 hours after meal 7.8mmol/l
( They also give the mg/dl figures ....100mg/dl and 140mg/dl ie these are easy to remember figures that have been converted into less convenient figures in mmol/l)

Never read the leaflet, but just checked the English (and Spanish and Portuguese) for the One Touch says the same as it does in French.

Never read the leaflets inside using the same brand all the time, I will have to have a look next time I open a box.
