iphone ios 17 update shuggah apple watch

Hi has anyone had any issues since updating their iphone
I did it this am.

My apple watch used to show the calendar event of my blood sugars every minute. As in it at 4.34 would say 4.34-4.44 8.2 mmol/L then at 4.35 it would say 4.35-4.45 8.2 mmol/l

Since the update i have the calendar event but its not updating it doesnt move.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hmmm…not had exactly this issue, but Shuggah has been doing weird things in the last week, like telling me I’m 1.4 for hours on end when meter says more like 5 or 6. I hadn’t connected it to the update but perhaps it’s caused gremlins.
 
hi all i have just came from the facebook group
since watch os 10 update the only watch face that continuosly updates the calendar to show valuse every 5 mins on the watch face is the siri one
 
Have just seen this message. i have updated mine will see how it goes. Is it a common problem? Would be great if this fixes it. I ideally have the battery level visible on my preferred watch face but this is no real drama.

Did you manage to sort this out, by any chance? I’m having the same issue and really struggling to resolve it!

Not had a issue with my apple watch or iPhone and that's with the beta version of 17 and they always seem to be fine after the beta version has been installed as I don't wait for the public version to come out as that's where people get the issues and it makes it easier to get the latest version before others so that if there is anything wrong you can get it done for the next one
 
Hi has anyone had this go wrong again. I have done an update to ios 18.2.1 from 17.something and i have updated my apple watch to watch)s 11.2 and i have lost my calendar complications which feed me my bloods from the shuggah app.

My calendar says " no upcoming events" but if i click on the wording it gives me my up to date bloods

Historically i think i used a modular face and a siri face but the modular nolonger seems to work and the siri face is no longer available.

Does anyone have any suggestions.

Calendars complications used to update live as soon a as a calendar entry was made, apple changed this and the calendar complication have the same restrictions as other apps, so no more live updates but will update roughly 6 times an hour

The only complications to update live now are the contacts complications which is why Shuggah can now create a contact that you can assign to a complication and get live updates

Ive worked it out. Thank you so so so much for alerting me to this. It is brill

I now have it on my watch again.

If anyone else struggling go into the shuggah app and in settings go to "contact image" put the first 2 to green (and the 3rd if you want high contrast) then add a complicaiton to your watch... "contact" and add the contact "shuggah"

This has worked brilliantly all week but today it’s frozen on a number. I’ve turned my phone off and on etc. I’ve noticed in the setting I can’t push to the right the sliding button for “enable contact image”

Do you have any ideas what I’ve done wrong here? Many thanks
 
Hi i have fixed htis in case anyone else has the prob. You have to allow Shuggah access to all your contacts now. Not just hte "shuggah" contact. This allows the button to be turned to the green position.

Sorry for being a bit dim but I’ve been having the same problems and followed your instructions earlier. Mine was great too and now it’s gone again. Would you mind just telling me how to do that. I’ve been through all the obvious things and can’t find where to allow all contacts.

It’s so frustrating when they change these functions!
 
Hi if you have not got to the contact stage yet... then do this...

Go to shuggah app

Go to settings

Contact Image

Swipe green on "enable contact image"

It will ask you what contacts you want to allow. You may be able to select "all contacts" here and it may work... if it doesnt revert and click on "one contact" and it should make you a conact called "shuggah"

In your iphone watch app

go to your faces,,, in one of the complicaitons add ( i think) Shuggah app but it may be contacts and if its contacts click on the contact "shuggah"


can you try the above if they dont work ill try and help further. I am useless on computers and with technology but will try to help.
