Is Glucosamine Sulphate safe with diabetic medication?

My partner's son has bought him some glucosamine sulphate tablets to help ease arthritic pain.

Just wondered if this is safe to take with diabetic medication - Type 2 diabetic with generally high / very high bs levels, on medication...Metformin 4 x 500mg per day plus Gliclazide 4 x 80mg per day (further details in my other threads) plus medication for high blood pressure / neuropathic pain / depression

Any views / feedback / first hand experience would be appreciated, thanks

With the medication that is being used, probably best not to use until you get some kind of recommendation from your Doctor.
Got this from Health Information. "Taking glucosamine does not adversely affect blood sugar control in diabetics"
Not much help. but hope you find out more info to help you make good use of the glucosamine sulphate tablets.
I take these tablets daily and and think I get a lot of benefit from them.
