Is insulin pump better?

Hey.. I've been on the injections for nearly 8 month I got diagnozed at the start of the year!

I'm thinking about the pump What benefits will I get from it?

I'm really active with sports mainly football
 
You get out of a pump as much as you put in :) Basically it's not plug and play and a lot of hard work to get the results.
 
Hi @Darwin195, for someone like yourself who is sport minded a pump would be invaluable as you can use a TBR (temporary basal rate) when exercising and even suspend the basal insulin if needed which you cannot do on MDI, but there's many more benefits of pumping over injections like the ability to split your bolus doses over several hours for meals that are high in protein and fat, if you want to know more information about pumps and the criteria for getting one on the NHS then have a read of the following:
