Is it High/Low Not feeling too clever

Hi Everyone,
As you may know, I have only been diabetic for about 4 months, but over the last 2 days, I have been feeling abit weird.

I don't feel dizzy, but I have a "funny head" is the only way to explain it, was like this all day yesterday and this morning, but this afternoon after lunch, I now have a real bad headache. As you know my Doc has not given me anything to test my sugar - so obviously I am concerned, do you think my sugar could be high/low?? Is there anything I can do ?

I have rung Docs got appt at 9:20am tomorrow.

Sorry to trouble you, but advice would be welcome.

I take 4 500mg Metformin Slow Release per day, 1 breakfast, 2 lunch, 1 evening

Difficult to tell as you don't know what your blood glucose levels are. Dizzyness can be a syptom of both low and high blood sugars, or it may be unrelated to your diabetes. I think you did best by booking appointment with your doctor.

Describe syptoms to the doctor, and tell him/her of your concerns about not knowing how well you are managing your diabetes, and would like a meter and test strips on prescription to enable you to control your condition better. Good luck!
