Is it normal to bleed after injecting Levemir in your thigh?

It's happened to me when I was injecting. It might be a blunt needle or how you've injected. Sometimes a bruise can form. But it's nothing to worry about. I'm now on the omnipod which has been a God send x
 
I sometimes bleed in the thigh. You just have to take potluck and hope you've missed a blood vessel. Annoying but not really a problem.
