Is it possible to run a G6 at the same time as a Libre 2?

I’m about to start the Omnipod 5 at the weekend and currently have the Libre 2 with the Omnipod Dash that expires in 6 days. I‘m moving to a Dex G6 starting today probably, can I run both systems concurrently does anyone know? Seems a shame to waste the Libre and it would give me back up in case I don’t get to grips with the G6. I use a Samsung s23 with x drip for BS on my Versa 4. And help appreciated, thanks

Absolutely no issue using both at the same time - different systems/connections etc.

No issues using both at the same time although they may give you very different results at times if one is reading inaccurately. I was always recommended by my diabetes team not to run 2 different CGM’s at the same time due to this.

Hi,

You can with the relevant recommended sensor apps running Librelink & Clarity..
But I wouldn’t try them both through xDrip.
Pick just one sensor for your watch. Whilst in use.

Don't know anything about the Omnipod but you can run a G6 and Libre 2 together. See
That’s brilliant, a little out of date now but the same principles and shows how things have chance in just 3 years.

Thanks for that, clarity is a new one on me, need to do some research on it as its been mentioned a few times over the last few weeks but get that about the watch, only 1 bt channel available I think.

I’m not sure.. But I think the versa uses Fitbit OS.
If xDrip is relaying your numbers to the watch. You do have a choice of sensor, from memory.
A smart watch receives a fair bit of info from other apps. Messenger & such like. It’s constantly linked to your phone retrieving alerts & info.
I’m more than confident that you can switch to Dexcom with xDrip when the need arises.

You may need an app called “Glance” on your watch & phone if you’re using Dexcom?
Cross that “one” when you get there. Tag me in & I’ll help all I can if you get stuck?

Best wishes.

Thanks Jaylee and every who helped. Am now successfully using Dexcom, Libre 2 and x drip as CGM’s with also Sentinel x drip figure on FitBit Versa 4, this I’m now finding is micro managing to a ridiculous degree but given how little info I ever had over the last 40 years is almost entertaining. If I can get the Dexcom figure onto the Versa possibly I can drop even x drip, LibreLink will be removed in a few days when it expires and I get to grip with the new technologies that includes the Omnipod 5. The fun never ends!
