is meter defunct ?

hello folks , this has probably been asked and answered before but I have not seen it...I have been using a small round meter that fits on the top of the test strip box ( round ) but every now and then , it does not register when I put in a new test strip..if remove the strip and reinsert it is ok...is this meter defunct ? should I get a new one?.....thanks for now .......... George.

I would say can you can you trust the meter to work and give you the right resuls now. Ring the manufacture / distributer and you would probally find they will send you a replacement and poss free. When I have had a meter prob I found the manufatures very helpful.
