Is microwave cooking bad for us?

I worked with a young lady who's aunt died from using a microwave, this was in the '90s and I'd just moved into my own little flat and was considering getting one. I asked how she died?, what of?... She was electrocuted!!! Hmmm. No value to this thread, just thought I'd share.

2 years ago my microwave died, I purchased a new one went to take the old one out and dropped it on my foot it didnt kill me just made me swear just a little bit
