I recently purchased a home testing kit.Last night when I got home I decided to test by blood sugar. The reading was 8.3.I thought that was slightly on the high side so I retested and it showed a reading of 11.3.I thought wow ,it can't change that much in a minute. So I immediately tested a 3rd time and it was 6.8.What is going on.........I've only had the kit a few weeks

They are never completely accurate but large errors are usually due to contamination. Be sure to wash hands with soap and warm water and dry thoroughly. Keep the strips in their tub, only opening it briefly to extract a strip and keep the tub in a cool dry place.
