Is my sugar level too high

My blood sugar level is 15.1 is this too high, I have just came out of hospital after operation for breast cancer.
 
Hi Margaref, your blood sugar level is high, but that is dependent on what you have eaten and if you have taken any medication to bring it down. I feel sure that your blood sugar level will be higher given that you have just undergone surgery and will no doubt be worried. I hope that you recover soon. No doubts someone more knowledgeable than me will be along soon to give you a bit more advice.
 
I hope all goes well with the rest of your treatment Margaret. I went through the same in 2013. I wasn't diabetic then, but I am sure it's what started it all off for me, with a combination of steroids and comfort eating during chemo.
