I have to say it looks revolting... but that could be just me not liking fast food... :)

The "subliminal" shaping the chicken base like a heart rang bells too...

Haven't tried, but I've seen this. Seems too good to be true, but there's a KFC in walking distance so keeping everything crossed!

Cooking from scratch is great, but having a takeaway is such a lovely luxury.

Not sure that would constitute low carb as KFC is breaded.
And like most fast food the ingredients would be the cheapest and low quality.

Hi,

From what I could make out from the video? Looked like it was rolled in flour... Again, the grain... Lol. I just have skin on my chicken.

I guess the fact low carb is being considered is a start. Let's see where this goes?

That is such a great point. Whether or not it works, and I'm not negative about that, at least they realise there's an audience who will pay out for a low carb takeaway.

It would suggest takings have gone down because everything is breadcrumbed and a change is necessary.

Good heavens, maybe we healthy eating low carbers finally have a say! :D

KFC 3 pieces of chicken is about the nearest low carb fast food you can get - if you eat all the bread crumbs it's 21g of carbs - I pull the breaking off two pieces and eat the other one whole! - only have it a couple of times a year - it's nice to have a treat now and then

For me it is not just about the amount of carbs but what the carbs are.
Flour is a no go for me
I'm about 80g carb a day - I agree it's about where the carbs are from but twice a year is fine by me, and the amount of coating to eat is probably less than 10g carbs

I'm at about 80g as well but none of it from grains. The only legume is chickpeas occasionally.
I've tried 20 of that 80 in grains and my average BG goes up 2.

Just proves we are all different - even a sniff of a chickpea and most pulses and beans shoot up my blood sugar - I'm ok with whole grains and new pots a few sweet pot fries no rice pasta - small amounts of flour I'm fine

That's what makes it so frustrating.
All we can do is talk about our experiences. Ever one is different. And who ever coined the phrase "eat to your meter" was a genius.
