Hi my husband has diabetes mellitus which he got when he was 4. It was 6 weeks after his polio jab. My daughter is coming up for her vaccines so I need to know if there is a link if so is there a safer alternative?
Welcome to the forum Cat.now that is a question I just can't answer!!I would discuss this with your doctor and see if there is any link. Type one diabetes is an autoimmune condition certainly but whether there is any connection I just do not know.
